This document constitutes an effective supplement to the 《Spark Membership Service Agreement》, forming an integral whole with it and having equal legal binding force. In case of any inconsistency between this document and the 《Spark Membership Service Agreement》, this document shall prevail.
Before enabling the automatic renewal function, please carefully read and fully understand all terms of this document, especially the relevant provisions on the automatic renewal mechanism, deduction arrangements and service cancellation methods.
By clicking to agree to or activate this service, you indicate that you have fully accepted all terms of this document and authorize Spark and its cooperating third-party payment institutions to implement automatic deductions in accordance with this document.
1.1 The automatic renewal function is a value-added service that you can voluntarily choose to activate on the basis of your subscribed Spark service. Once activated, it means you authorize Spark to deduct the fee for the next billing cycle from your associated account through cooperating payment channels within 24 hours before the expiration of the membership/cloud storage service or after its expiration. The specific deduction time for some transactions may be determined by the payment channel based on actual circumstances, and the actual deduction time shall prevail. After successful deduction, the system will automatically extend the corresponding membership/cloud storage service period for you.
1.2 The original design purpose of this service is to prevent service interruption caused by users' failure to renew in a timely manner due to negligence or other reasons.
2.1 Billing Cycles: Multiple cycle options such as monthly, quarterly, and annual are available (subject to the actual offerings of Spark), and users can select them according to their needs.
2.2 Deduction Authorization: Activating this service means you authorize the payment channel to deduct the fee for the next billing cycle from your bound account in accordance with Spark' instructions, without the need to verify account password, payment password, SMS verification code or other information.
2.3 Deduction Mechanism: Unless you or Spark explicitly cancel the automatic renewal, the service will automatically continue and deductions will be executed. If you do not take the initiative to cancel, it shall be deemed that you agree to the payment channel making multiple deduction attempts within a certain period before and after the service expiration in accordance with its rules (including cases where the account balance is insufficient).
2.4 Deduction Effect: After successful deduction, Spark will immediately activate the membership/cloud storage service for the corresponding cycle for you.
2.5 Price Adjustment: Spark reserves the right to adjust the price of membership/cloud storage services. Price changes will be notified to you through one or more methods such as in-app announcements, in-site messages, and emails within a reasonable time before renewal. If you do not accept the adjusted price, you may cancel the automatic renewal in accordance with the provisions of this document. If not cancelled, it shall be deemed that you agree to the payment channel deducting the service fee for subsequent cycles at the new price.
3.1 The automatic renewal function needs to be managed by yourself through the payment platform corresponding to your device. As the service provider, Spark cannot directly cancel or process refunds on your behalf.
3.2 Cancellation Paths:
- iOS (Apple App Store) users: Go to your device's 「Settings」 → Tap your 「Apple ID」 → 「Subscriptions」 → Find Spark and cancel the subscription.
- Android phone users: Operate through the Spark client - 【Me】 - 【VIP - Renew Now】 - 【Cancel Automatic Renewal】.
- Google Play and other Android app store payment users: Open the corresponding app store → Enter 「Account」 or 「Me」 → 「Subscriptions」 or 「Automatic Renewal Management」 → Find Spark and cancel the automatic renewal.
- WeChat Pay users: In the WeChat App - 【Me】 - 【Payment】 - Tap the button in the upper right corner to enter 【Payment Center】 - 【Payment Management】 - 【Automatic Deductions】 - Select 【Spark Membership/Cloud Storage Continuous Monthly Service】 - 【Deactivate Service】.
- Alipay users: In the Alipay App - 【Me】 - Tap the button in the upper right corner to enter 【Settings】 - 【Payment Settings】 - 【Password-free Payment/Automatic Deductions】 - Select 【Spark Membership/Cloud Storage Continuous Monthly Service】 - 【Deactivate Service】 → 【Confirm Deactivation】.
3.3 Cancellation Time Limit: Please ensure that the cancellation operation is completed at least 24 hours before the expiration of the current subscription cycle. If a deduction occurs due to the cancellation not taking effect in a timely manner, please apply for a refund in accordance with the rules in Section 4.
The decision to cancel this service is at your discretion. If not cancelled, it shall be deemed that you agree to our deductions in accordance with the agreed rules. After successful deduction, the membership/cloud storage service for the next service cycle will be activated immediately. The deduction instructions you authorized before terminating the service remain valid, and the service fees already deducted based on such instructions will not be refunded.
Spark shall not be liable for automatic renewal failure or service interruption under the following circumstances:
- Malfunctions, delays or errors in the payment platform system;
- Insufficient balance, expired or invalid information in your payment account;
- Your failure to timely and correctly cancel the automatic renewal function in accordance with the provisions of this document;
- Service abnormalities caused by force majeure (such as cyber attacks, natural disasters, government actions, etc.).
6.1 This document is a supplementary document to the 《Spark Membership Service Agreement》. In case of any conflict, this document shall prevail.
Spark reserves the right to modify or revise the content of this document according to business development or technical upgrading needs. The revised content will be published on the relevant pages. If you do not agree to the modifications, you may cancel this service and stop using it; if you continue to use our services, it shall be deemed that you accept all modified content.
6.2 This document shall take effect when you click to activate the automatic renewal service and pay the first fee, and shall terminate when you cancel this service.
